Who is Miles Crofton? He is a war hero, a soldier-of-fortune and an aviator. In "The Unseen Killer" he became entangled in a villain's scheme where he was double-crossed and framed for murder. The Shadow ultimately saved the day and, as was the pattern, Miles was made an agent and became The Shadow's relief pilot.
