Saturday's random pulp cover: Black Book Detective : "The White Witch"_Spring, 1944

Beautifully rendered, if unexciting, cover by Rudolph Belarski.  It appears to be The Black Bat who is performing the voodoo instead of the White Witch.  Perhaps she has him under her evil spell.  I guess one would have to read the story to find out.

Saturday's random pulp cover: Doc Savage Magazine : "The Green Master"_Winter, 1949

The third to last tale published in the original pulp run.  The cover is by none other than that master illustrator of The Shadow, George Rozen.  Gotta say, I love his work on The Shadow Magazine a lot more.

Saturday's random pulp cover: The Spider : "The Citadel of Hell"_March, 1934

C'mon now!  If this cover doesn't light a fire under your keister, I don't know what will.  This is a true pulp cover in the best sense.  The hero fights Death for the future of his city.  It don't get much cooler than that.
