A little more of a clew

Should be a bit easier now.

  1. Didn't have time to respond to the first clew as I've been sick for three days [vertigo; inner ear-type] and then working a number of twelve-hr. shifts due to the winter storm here...ANYHOO - don't think I would've figured it from the first clew alone but the new one did it: TEETH OF THE DRAGON, one of my favorite covers! Love The profile of The Shadow, the only Myra Weldon portrait [introduced in this novel], plus the bizarre dragon/demon head hovering in the backgound, and the blue/green colors...all make for a great cover, IMHO. Plus, the novel is one of the best Gibson wrote! I have a repro painting of this right in front of the computer, which helped tip me off: "Hmm...lips? Chinese collar? Hey, there it is in front of me!"

  2. I hope you're feeling better and that the 12's come to an end soon. Of course, you're correct on the cover. I read this one ages ago. Gonna need another session in the sanctum with it, I'm sure.
