After finishing "The Big Sleep" I am finally returning to The Shadow. This tale seems appropriate for the times we are living at the moment with the upcoming battle to fill Justice Bader's vacant seat and an ugly battle for the presidency of our nation. Not to mention here in the state I live we have a contentious fight for a Senate seat and our Governorship. I was never political and still feel that I'm not, but with the state of our country where everything, even a global pandemic, is filtered politically it seems that we are all tied up with politics. I'm hoping this tale shows us how common sense and a universal right win out.
