THE MAGIGALS MYSTERY. OK, a girl's whipping a knife in The Shadow's direction, but the main danger presented by this cover seems to be a few geese, one plucking at our hero's cloak. Horrors! These last stories weren't Gibson's best by a long shot, but this story does mention my hometown, Dubuque, Iowa!
