Some Steranko comps



I may have put a couple of these up before but the hand image is new to me.  At least I don't remember it...

    These are from "Unseen Shadows"? I love Steranko's commentary on the creation of the covers. Two key takeaways: he works "two up" is twice the size of the finished product and he preferred still gessoed Masonite over stretched canvas.

    I prefer gessoed Masonite as well. No give in the surface. As to "Unseen Shadows" I have always wanted to get my hands on one of those sets. Alas, I have to rely on the internet.
