The Tuesday Challenge
The 20th clew I've run. This started out as just a way to amuse myself, thanks for playing and making it seem worthwhile.

Your clews can House some misleading images; there are just the Ghosts of a chance I'll get it right...right?
ReplyDeleteBut I want an analysis of the cover. Did you notice the really big mistake?
ReplyDeleteIf you mean The Shadow not having his girasol ring on, yes.[After you mentioned a mistake..] If you mean the horrendous wallpaper, that's the interior decorator's fault, although Stein could've taken the liberty of improving upon it. Crappy, or maybe I should say just serviceable, art on a number of these digests, so I tend not to pay close attention as I would to Rozen's covers. By this time our hero had seen better days...
ReplyDeleteYes, the ring. Also, the "slouch" hat appears to be no more. I thought the rendering was fine, just that, as you said, the digest covers tended to be "serviceable" at best.
