THE DEVIL'S PARTNER, maybe my least favorite Rozen cover of them all. Awkward composition, poorly [and apparently, QUICKLY] rendered by George. Not crazy about a number of his '41-'42 covers [although BOOK OF DEATH, one of his all-time greats, is from this period], but this is his nadir, IMO... Either he was being paid less and/or was unhappy with his employers, or he was sick of doing THE SHADOW by this time. It must have showed, because he left again in '43.
