I agree, Bill. This cover could have been on any lesser magazine and was not particularly interesting. I just thought it might make for a tougher find.
As to the story itself, this was one of Theodore Tinsley's stories and so the tale is more lurid and "pulpy" than Walter's. Some like that and others not so much. The review can be found here.
