A great cover here with the "trail" laid out in pictures. Heh, I'm a sucker for this stuff. According to the review here there is a passage in the novel that describes how the Shadow exits his sanctum. I think this may be where the '94 film got the idea for the automatic system Lamont Cranston used to enter his sanctum. Fun stuff.

Not crazy about this cover; maybe it's the image of The Shadow...poor perspective, I think. Too many boxes, also. The concept was carried off better on THE SHADOW UNMASKS cover.
