"Shadow -- Go Mad!"

This looks like they just used Rozen's paintings as inspiration rather than straight up copying it.  The result?  Boring...

"Mark of The Shadow"

Looks as though "Murder For Sale" was the cover used as the basis for this illustration.  I'm sure that's where the similarities stop.

"The Shadow's Revenge"

Not a bad interpretation of this classic cover...

However, I prefer the two fisted gunplay depicted in the original image.  I'm sure that the cover is the best part of this novel.

"Cry Shadow!"

Another one in the modern vein.  However, I could do without the bright yellow that dominates this cover.  Sure, it focuses the eye but it just doesn't feel mysterious.  Knowwhutahmean?

"Shadow Beware"

This is the second of the Lynds' novels.  I like this cover if only because it is better than most in this run.  It has a classicly rendered look although the design is much more graphic.

The Shadow Strikes

I haven't read any of the Dennis Lynds novels.  Bad cover.  I may one day sit down and read them after I'm done with the original pulp run.  That's a loooooooong time down the road.
