"Room of Doom"

A fun carnival like cover from Rozen for a novel that John Olsen of The Shadow in Review gives three gats out of five.  So, a solid story from 1942 which says something as the heyday of The Shadow was clearly in the rear view mirror at this point.  Only 82 more issues of the pulp run remain.  Of those 5 are Tinsley tales and 15 are Elliott efforts.  Gibson will churn out 62 novels over the remaining 7 years and then make a stab again with the paperback novel "Return of The Shadow " in 1963.  A couple short stories will in 1979 & 1980 round it out.  (I refuse to include the eight Belmont stories by Dennis Lynds nor the recent James Patterson debacle.)
