9 years later, the imposter steals from the true Master of Men!  Who did it better?  I would say The Shadow did.  The Spider cover is pure pulp and is well painted but "Murder Trail" puts doom to the villains right in our face.  I love how it feels like the viewer has been caught red handed and retribution is about to come to town.  I have to admit that I have never read any of The Spider's books so I'm only talking about the cover art.
