THE JADE DRAGON. Not the story reprinted in the Crime Club hardcover, this earlier JD has a cover I basically like - love dragons and sinister Asians in The Shadow - but I could've done without the apparently green double-breasted suit on our hero. I know double-breasted was the style in '40s, but on The Shadow, please... (I dislike the double-breasted, full-length overcoat he favors THESE days even more!) Haven't read this JD yet, but the later, first-Gibson-in-years one would be tough to beat...
