Gangdom's Doom

Submitted as "The Shadow Cleans Up Chicago" this is the fifth published tale of our mysterious hero.  I read this one a long time ago and look forward to reading it again when it is reprinted by Anthony Tollin.  The cover is okay but significant because we get to see the first cover representation of the familiar hat and cloak.  Typical pulp art for the time.  It must've been exciting when fans saw it on the stands!
Gibson was still in the formative stages of fleshing out The Dark Eagle but was starting to get it all down by this one.  For those of you who haven't read this tale, check out this review by John Olson.
