Turns out that Gerard Jones, as the detail shows in this story, is a resident of San Francisco. Definitely one of his best 'The Shadow Strikes!' stories! And what a GREAT combination Barreto's art and Tollin's (the same now Sanctum compiler?) colours make too. Brings back vivid memories of reading this was when it was originally published.
