One of the classics. I thoroughly enjoyed this story (thanks to Anthony Tollin for reprinting this early in his run) and found it to be one of the defining moments in The Shadow's great adventures. If you haven't read this one do so now! To get an idea about this tale click here.
As to the cover it is one of the best. The Shadow is rendered as well as he has ever been. In later years Batman would recreate the feel of this cover many times over. Our hero was truly a trend setter.
