I agree, Agent T. Not the way I want to see The Dark Eagle. However, this is an early one and I do love those little "crypt keeper" vignettes at the lower right corner of the cover. A gray suit and brown socks?!?! And that gun ain't exactly a smokewagon! Still, I love the early stuff as we get to see (via covers and interior art) and read how our hero comes to be The Shadow we all know and fear. If you haven't read this, the seventh story published, do so as soon as you can. In the meantime please check out a very brief synopsis here.

The Silent Seven
