Another Thing That I Covet
A member of the Fedora Lounge converted an Amish hat from Flying Cloud out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is the best version of the slouch hat shown on the covers of most of The Shadow Magazine. I really, really, really want this. (Are you listening, Mr. Claus?)

What inch brim is this hat please and where can I find it thanks the sun is shining
ReplyDeletePeter,
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to the post on The Fedora Lounge. Scroll to comment #23 (Daoud). It looks, however, that the pictures are gone. However the brim is noted at 3.5 inches and the maker is Flying Cloud. Although The Shadow knows, this is all I know of this. Wish it were mine. http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?33490-The-Shadow-s-Fedora.../page3
No word from Santa on this at this point? Cool hat. I am surprised that no one makes a Shadow hat.
ReplyDeleteI finally got a hat that I can work with. You can view it here. http://thepurplegirasol.blogspot.com/2013/09/finally.html Now, I need a cloak...
