 This is one of the back up stories that accompanied The Shadow Comics.  Todays story features The Avenger in a tale titled "Death in the Glass Mountain".  Enjoy.

Avenger Saturday presents: "House of Death" paperback

 Nicely rendered but absolutely devoid of any drama and action.  If the lightning going into his ear and the roiling sea are supposed to create some sense of intrigue, well they should have looked toward the original pulp.  Far more interesting than the modern take.

 

ON THE AIR: March 10, 1946

Crazy actor who cuts his own face off.  Fairly horrid concept.  Poor Billy will never be the same.  But leave it to Lamont and Margot to get into just enough of a jam figuring this out that Cranston's alter ego makes an appearance in time to save the day.  Sit back and enjoy "The Ghost Without a Face"!
