 Just as an added bit to the weekly serial I've been linking to is this not so great poster.  I could almost like it if the images of Jory and Borg weren't done sooooo badly.  I'm guessing time and budget played huge roles in some of the minor aspects of these sort of film productions from back in the day.

This is the sixth published adventure from Theodore Tinsley and it has a bit of an interesting bit of foreshadowing (no pun intended) of what was to come for the country.  Tinsley wrote this four and a half years before it came to pass...

 

"A new and terrible war threatened the peace of the world. It was being deliberately fomented in the Far East. The United States was one of the victims to be attacked... its success depended on a surprise aerial attack without a second's warning."

 

Eerily accurate description of Pearl Harbor.  

 

This was also reprinted in The Thriller Library as "Man Trap".

 What a cool cover and, according to John at The Shadow in Review, a cool tale.  Viewing this cover from the perspective of a Batman fan of the late 60's to the present, the comparison to Two Face is inevitable.  It seems the story doesn't bear out the comparison, just the cover art.  Anyhow, this seems to be a must read for any and all agents of The Shadow.
