A modern cover. Bleh. I yearn for the old days of the great Rozen cover art or the better Gladney's. This is a Tinsley tale and the review says it may be the best of 1943. This issue also marks the return to a monthly magazine. The days of two adventures per month have come to an end. Paper shortage and changing tastes of readers had laid the path to the end, although it was still 6 years distant. By the end of 1943 the magazine would become a digest. So enjoy this one and know that '43 was a pretty decent year for the tales of The Shadow.
