I have always liked this cover. However, if The Shadow is the one opening the door then where is the ring on his left hand? Perhaps it's explained in the story but I have always thought that the ring never left his hand. This apparently is a nice little story that rises a bit above the average gangster tale. Solid cover art and a solid story... what else does one want?
