Alex Ross: The Light saga

At least the covers were good.  I'm only halfway through the six issue arc and I just can't see this as The Shadow I see when I read the pulps or even listen to the radio program.  After "The Shadow Strikes" from DC it just feels like Dynamite didn't understand the character.  I don't get trying to modernize The Shadow yet keeping him in the 1930s.  Alas, I didn't get a say in any of this.  As I said, at least Ross did a great job.
