Don't try to figure the story out from the title. It has nothing to do with the adventure. However, this one does have Burbank out in the field with The Shadow and it turns out he is a steady marksman. The man in the lonely room continues to impress. I like the cover as it features the ring but also because, as an illustrator, the hand obscures the masthead. This brings the whole design together and creates one more layer of depth.
