A fun cover that probably played off of the Universal Pictures' run of movie monsters, especially the memorable Boris Karloff as 'The Mummy' from 1932, just two years prior to this being published and about a year prior to Gibson penning the tale. It's a wonderful story that I can recommend from the early years of The Shadow Magazine.
