Mobsmen on the Spot

Probably the way the mysterious voice was imagined, this image appeared earlier as the cover of "The Death Tower" from January '32.  The title was changed from "The Shadow Fights the Rackets", a good decision.  I read this one years ago when it was reprinted in paperback form.  A wonderful early adventure that really made me a fan and, if you haven't read it, will remind you why we love this character so much.  Check out this review if you can't find a copy to read.  But, as you can see by the covers below, there really isn't a reason you can't find one.
