You are absolutely correct, Agent T.  This may be the definitive representation of our hero in action.  However, I think that "The Black Hush" may take the top prize.  As to the story, this is the one that inspired the first Batman tale, three years later.  Tinsley wrote this one as his first of 27 novels that he contributed to our favorite magazine.  If you haven't read it, here is a preview via "The Shadow in Review".
