The Better Little Book
Really like the simple style of the art and the fonts are just cool. Too bad they left the ring off of his left hand. Still, I'd love to have this little book.

Could The Shadow have finally met his match in Covid19?
This cover just made me think of all the images coming out of the big cities (and small towns) all across the country. Since our president has recommended we all wear masks I have taken to wearing one myself when I hit the grocery store. Too bad our leader isn't following his own directive but that's a whole other issue and one I don't care to bring up on this site. I hope that everyone is staying safe and staying put. Break out a few issues of your favorite pulp hero and ride this out. The Shadow knows!

ON THE AIR Sunday April 3, 1938
82 years ago today (or Sunday, rather) this classic Orson Welles episode, Death From the Deep, thrilled millions of Americans as they huddled around their radios. I've listened to this on my cassette players for many years thanks to Radio Reruns. You can listen to it here. Enjoy.
