I love the crossbow but always thought the motorcycle and sidecar were obvious attempts to create a toy line.  It takes me out of the moment.  Still, nice work.

  Nice little pulp cover with some great light and dark play at work here. Reminds me of this cover.  Could almost be two views of the same scene.

Today I'm just going to post the beautiful art that ended up being the sarcophagus that Shiwan traveled to the shores of the U S of A.  A lot of work went into this.  Just gorgeous.

Needs a background

Gorilla Grod meets The Shadow!  Not my favorite comic cover from the classic run.  Never been a fan of The Shadow losing his hat or the dress shoes.  Although it's pretty well drawn this cover could use a background for context.  Are we at the circus?  Is the beast running amok through the streets of Manhattan?  Is our hero visiting The Phantom and prowling the jungle?  Guess ya gotta buy it to find out.  One last thing... what's up with the white "S" in the masthead?
