Love this odd cover. The cool table with the elephant heads, the guinea pigs playing with the mystic yet retro-futuristic device and The Shadow peeking out from behind the curtain, like the Wizard of Oz. The colors are really nice with this one.

Always really liked this one, too. wish Sanctum Books version of it wasn't so overly dark; it obscured the details of the elephant table. Excellent story, too. Better hope Bannon or the Klan don't get their hands on this machine, which, by-the-way, makes an important return appearance in Will Murray's new Shadow-Doc Savage team-up novel, EMPIRE OF DOOM...
