Please tell me this ain't so
NO! I really hope this is someone trying to pull one over on Batman and not The Shadow. Hate, HAte, HATe, HATE this costume. I have to believe it is something that Dynamite is pushing and not DC. Could be wrong, though. This really brought me down even though the story was already not thrilling me.

The Death Triangle
More yellow! At least it is a graphic element and not just a giant yellow wall. Agent T informs me that this is the portrait of The Shadow that Jim Steranko based his 70's era "The Living Shadow" cover on. Quite a nice image even if the story was a bit on the "meh" side.

Batman/The Shadow #1
I know I said I was excited about this series, especially with Snyder writing it. I love the Time Sale cover but once I got into the story I was less thrilled. The art is probably an acquired taste but often I can overlook that if I'm not expecting much.
Everyone knows I'm not a fan of the scarf but can live with it as long as it serves a purpose. This (above image) is just silly, in my opinion. However, if they had stuck with this I would have written it off as my being an old fuddy duddy and to get over the fact that this ain't Gibson's Dark Eagle. If only... Tomorrow I'll show y'all what really irks me.

Remember Vernon Greene?
Just thought all y'all might like to see what the artist of The Shadow comic strip, Vernon Greene, did when not running out hero through the nations funny pages back in the day.
Hmmmm... Mac the Medic by Sergeant Vernon Greene.

The Sealed Box
Correct, Agent T. Thanks for the rumor regarding the lack of The Shadow's face for this one. For those who don't know, Agent T tells us that there may have been an editorial decision to paint out our hero's face because it may have seemed The Dark Eagle was participating in an assault on the damsel. I can see that. Sounds like this is a good one to read.

The Wasp Returns
I really like this cover to this tale although I wish it were done a bit tighter. The mags are fine but The Shadow doesn't look as well rendered as I would like. Gladney was able to do it but just didn't go that extra mile as often as Rozen, in my opinion.

The Shadow's Shadow
Fun novel and cover. I'm sure this one jumped off the newsstands and grabbed the customer by the proverbial throat. That yellow though...

Hands in the Dark
Sorry to say, but this title is a little too appropriate for our own Agent T. Perhaps modified to "Finger in the Dark" would work better. But seriously, I hope your mishap is too bad and that you heal up quickly.
The Batman Encounters - Gray Face page 8
The finale. I want to rework this for The Shadow someday. Always been a fan of these pictures and prose stories. Feels kinda pulpy.
